2002 Abstract Submission Deadline:  HAS PASSED

 2002 Invitation to Submit Abstracts

We invite you to submit your best research for presentation at the 2002 Annual Meeting of the Pediatric Academic Societies. The Annual Meeting offers a unique opportunity for you and your colleagues to present interesting, new and innovative research and engage in collegial interchanges.

The Program Committee is committed to presenting the broadest possible range of high quality work from the membership. We would like both the absolute number of abstracts presented, and the percentage accepted, to grow. To achieve these goals while preserving the quality of the meeting, we ask members sponsoring each abstract to pay close attention to the abstract content. The member sponsoring each abstract is the first and most important part of the review and selection process. Please contribute to the meeting quality and do not sponsor an abstract you would not like to see on the program.

Please review the Policies & Guidelines to ensure the abstracts you submit adhere to the submission guidelines. Please contact us if you have any questions.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and to your participation at the 2002 Pediatric Academic Societies’ Annual Meeting.

Submit Electronically and Simplify the Process

It is possible to submit your abstract via the world wide web. Authors may choose to submit electronically via an on-line program or a website download/email program. Use one of these submission processes to submit your abstract to allow for up-to-the deadline submission (no overnight courier to worry about) and for greater accuracy. Using the electronic modes of transmission expedites the handling of abstracts and preparation of the program.

PREFERRED METHOD: Online Submission
Allows you to access your abstract from anywhere you have internet access. You can log in, create your abstract, save it, and return to work on it up until you submit it. You are able to print your submitted abstract by returning to the site at any time.

  • The web site is available 24 hours a day until 11:59 p.m. CST on December 6th

  • Using a password system, create your abstract, save it, and return to work on it when your time allows (until you submit it)

  • Work on the abstract from different sites (anywhere you have access to the internet)

  • Make your abstract payment online or using a paper form

  • Supports graphic images and tables (with special characters/symbols)

  • Supports Greek characters and special symbols

  • Notification of receipt and acceptance status is provided via email (if email address is provided)

ALTERNATE ELECTRONIC METHOD: Download/Email Program
Download this program to your computer to prepare your abstract and then email the file created upon submission to the address given in the instructions.

  • Requires user to have an email system that allows attachments

  • Supports tables and graphic images

  • Supports Greek characters and special symbols

  • Once completed, the "submitted" file must be uploaded from your computer (through email)

  • Notification of receipt and acceptance status is provided via email (if email address is provided)
