This
activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the
Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of
Tulane University Health Sciences Center and the Pediatric
Academic Societies. Tulane University Health Sciences Center is
accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical
Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for
physicians and takes responsibility for the content, quality and
scientific integrity of this CME activity.

University Health Sciences Center designates this educational
activity for a maximum of 32.75 hours in category 1
credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each
physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she
actually spent in the educational activity.

by presenters who have been selected because of their recognized

Procedure
for CME Credit
A
$50 processing fee is required for those who request credit. To
receive the appropriate number of CME credit hours, it is
important to do the following:

Upon
arrival, pick up your verification form at the
Continuing Education Desk.

On
your departure date, turn in your completed
verification form.
A
record of credit will be mailed to each registrant after the
activity concludes.

is the policy of the Center for Continuing Education at Tulane
University Health Sciences Center to ensure balance,

Nursing
Credits
Nursing
credits are being provided through the Ambulatory Pediatric
Association. Please complete the appropriate form at the
Continuing Education Desk at Meeting Registration. Provider
approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider
Number CEP 4754, for 31.25 contact hours. Hours
should be claimed based on those hours actually spent in an
educational activity.
AAP
Credit
This
continuing medical education activity has been reviewed by the
American Academy of Pediatrics and is acceptable for up to 38.25
AAP credit hours. These credits can be applied toward the PREP
Education Award available to Fellows and Candidate Fellows of
the American Academy of Pediatrics.
