SUBMISSION
October to December
|
Using an Online Submission Program, nearly 3,000
abstracts are drafted, finalized, and submitted for
consideration for presentation at the PAS Annual Meeting each
year.
|
REVIEW
January
|
The PAS Program Committee members review
abstracts submitted to each subspecialty and theme area. After
the initial review process, conference calls are held among the
members in each subspecialty or theme area and abstracts are
indicated for presentation format. The final step is for the
Program Committee to meet to schedule the abstracts for Platform
presentation, Poster Symposium presentation, Poster
presentation, or to be published only.

ASSIGNMENT
February
|
Letters are mailed to each abstract's contact
author to indicate the disposition of the abstract, along with
any instructions necessary for presentation of the abstract.
|
PUBLICATION
March
|
Abstracts are published online and include a
search engine so that meeting attendees and others can search on
a topic, author, or day to prepare meeting itineraries and/or
obtain information on the latest developments in pediatric
research.

PRESENTATION
April/May
|
Abstracts are presented at the PAS Annual
Meeting.
