We are hard at work planning the 2005 program in
Washington, DC, May 14-17, at the NEW Washington Convention
Center. We also welcome the American Academy of Pediatrics who
joins as an official PAS partner beginning with the 2005 PAS. As
always, we are committed to presenting a high quality program
addressing all aspects of academic pediatrics, and we will present
challenging and new areas of knowledge in research, medical
education, patient care and public policy. Our goal is to present
the best from our diverse pediatric academic disciplines as we
interact in a collegial and congenial atmosphere.
The Program Committee,
chaired by Dr. Paul Young, includes representation from the PAS
and a growing number of pediatric
subspecialty societies who affiliate with the PAS. This group
will meet soon to select the invited science components of the PAS
and joint programs.
