Submit your child and adolescent health research poster to PAS 2024!
Call: January 15, 2023 – February 15, 2023
The PAS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee will partner with educational leaders from regional institutions near the PAS Meeting venue to identify underrepresented medicine and science (URiMS) students/mentor dyads engaged in child and adolescent health research. Beginning in January 2024 PAS DEI Committee members and/or PAS Partner leaders based in Toronto will connect with leaders from Canadian Indigenous groups and Toronto- and surrounding area hospitals, universities, colleges, medical schools, and high schools.
Mentors will work closely with the students to develop their submissions. Prior to submission to PAS, Mentors will be encouraged to submit draft proposals to the PAS Program Chair-elect for preview and comment as support for aligning submissions with guidelines for submission content and format. The Program Committee Leadership Team (PCLT) will review all submissions for alignment with PAS guidelines for submission content and format.
PAS and the PAS Program Chair-elect will host a special welcome event to welcome all those selected to present in this Lab, their mentors, and guests. After their Poster Session display, Meet the Next Generation posters will remain on extended display.
Presenters will receive complimentary registration and limited travel support.
Each presenter’s mentor and a peer guest will receive complimentary registration.
