Attention Trainees: Residents and Fellows
Deadline: November 4, 2024
Background & Goal: To ease Trainees’ transition to the earlier PAS 2025 Abstract submission deadline (November 4, 2024), PAS offers Trainees a special submission option for the PAS 2025 Meeting: a Works in Progress Poster Submission.
Works in Progress Poster Submission- Definition
- Background, Objective, and Design / Methods are complete at submission (November 4, 2024), and
- The study has been implemented and data collection and/or analysis is underway, and
- Datasets and Results that are incomplete at submission, will be COMPLETE by April 1 for presentation at the PAS 2025 Meeting (April 24-28, 2025).
Eligible Submitters: All Trainees: Residents and Fellows. Although open to all Trainees, PAS anticipates most Presenting Authors/Submitters of Works in Progress Poster Submissions will be second or third-year Fellows who would have completed data sets and results by January 2025, the traditional PAS deadline.
Works in Progress Poster Submission Criteria
- Only Trainees who are Presenting/First Authors may make a Works in Progress Submission.

Datasets and Results may be incomplete at the time of submission.
- Submitters will attest that Datasets and Results will be complete by April 1, 2025, for presentation at the PAS 2024 Meeting. If the results are incomplete by April 1, the authors of accepted submissions will alert PAS so that the poster may be removed from the PAS Program.
- Unless otherwise noted, these Criteria Submissions must follow the general PAS Academic Ethics.
- A PAS 2025 Works in Progress Poster Submission may be resubmitted as a completed Abstract for the PAS 2026 Meeting (April 22-29, 2026, Boston), if substantive changes have been made. PAS 2025 Works in Progress Poster Submissions that remain incomplete or unchanged may not be resubmitted for the PAS 2026 Meeting.

Accepted Works in Progress Poster Submissions that have been accepted for publication are still eligible for presentation at the PAS 2025 Meeting.
