With can’t-miss experiences and key learning sessions, this field guide lays out everything you need to know.

Each year, the PAS Meeting brings together thousands of physicians, researchers, and health professionals from around the world to share research, explore new ideas, build career opportunities, establish meaningful connections, and experience the best the pediatric research field has to offer. Approximately 2,395 first-time attendees joined the meeting in 2022. Once you attend the PAS Meeting, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Share your research at a National Conference with a global audience! Join thousands of leading pediatric researchers and worldwide educators in advancing child health by letting your voice be heard and present at PAS 2023! The call for Abstracts is open from November 10, 2022 – January 4, 2023.

CHOOSE INTERESTING SESSIONS
During the PAS 2023 Meeting, attendees will discover a curated lineup of top-quality educational and scientific programs covering a spectrum of specialties, with over hundreds of hours of content;  including 600+ oral abstract presentations, 350+ sessions, and 3,000 posters, the PAS Meeting provides access to cutting-edge pediatric research, the latest in scientific findings, and great networking and career development opportunities. While it is impossible to attend every session, a little planning beforehand can help you maximize your time. Visit our Schedule-at-at-Glance for an early view of the Program.

  • Study the Program Guide (available February 2023), and learn about all the program options available each day–don’t just focus on one track! Conference registrants are welcome to attend any session or presentation. Note: Pre-Conference ticketed events are an additional fee.
  • Read through the session lists and pick at least ONE session in each time slot, then pick a backup.
  • You don’t have to stay for the full length of a session. The speakers and their presentation titles for each session in the scientific program or mobile app are listed in the order in which they will be presented. If you plan on staying for just a short period of time, grab a seat near the door so you can easily slip out.

The PAS exhibit hall is a fun and exciting place, so you will want to drop in and see the abundance of ideas and the latest tools available. The Exhibit Hall is open from Friday, April 28 – Monday, May 1, 2023. See the Exhibitors.

  • More than 125 exhibitors will be on-site to offer you a hands-on opportunity to explore new technology, services, and innovative products. You’ll need to wear your name badge to enter the hall, as well as to attend sessions.

TIPS FROM VETERAN PAS MEETING ATTENDEES:

    • Wear comfortable shoes
    • Dress in layers – the convention center stays cold
    • Stay safe – don’t wear your badge outside of the convention center, unless you are at the meeting.
    • Bring a pen and notebook
    • Look at attendee badges – and introduce yourself. Expand your professional network.

Every year, shortly after the meeting, registrants will be emailed a link to an electronic survey. Your experiences and opinion of the meeting will help us to plan and organize future meetings and events.

CLAIM YOUR CME/MOC PART 2 CREDIT
Following PAS 2023 you will receive an email with instructions and deadlines to claim your credit. It is the attendee’s responsibility to claim any credit due for CME-designated sessions attended at PAS 2023.
