APA SIGS

SUBMITTING A SIG
Session submitters will not be able to complete a session submission until all required tasks are completed. There are three required tasks to be completed by the submitter of the session and each speaker in the session:
- Profile Participation Information
- Conflict of Interest – Important COI Information
- Acknowledgment
- All submitters are expected to give proactive attention to DEI as sessions are planned. See the PAS Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for full details.
- ALL PAS and APA SIG organizers MUST provide PAS a full agenda with speaker names and presentation titles during the submission window or they will not be allowed to participate.
PAS ABSTRACTS IN A SIG
To help streamline PAS operations, SIG submitters can now indicate whether they would like to include accepted PAS abstracts in their SIG sessions.
- In February, PAS will share opted-in accepted posters with the SIG submitter and Chairs. These abstracts must be presented in an alternate format from a poster in the SIG session. Posters boards will not be supplied or permitted in the session room.
- Chairs are responsible for contacting abstract authors and confirming their participation prior to submitting a final SIG agenda to PAS.
- Once the final agenda is submitted, Chairs will receive confirmation that their session has been added to the PAS program guide.
